Kirkdale Reserve parkrun event #220

It’s been a while since my last parkrun post. Today I was down the creek at Kirkdale Reserve parkrun for my twelfth finish there. That puts me a step closer to lifting my p-index to 12, the goal I set out earlier in the year.

Over the last four months I’ve been chipping away at the other events that sat between me and that next increment, roughly guided by where DJ’s cross-country events have been. What remains is Studley parkrun: five more finishes there and the index ticks up. Studley has had a few recent cancellations while necessary engineering works take place on the beautiful Kane’s Suspension Bridge, so I hope to enjoy their alternative course in the spring.

DJ had the morning off cross-country and cycled himself to Coburg parkrun to walk the event. Proud parent.

Cross-country is at Keilor next week, so I am looking forward to returning to Brimbank parkrun.
