Conquer Cancer - Hour Three

Yesterday I completed my third and final scheduled hour of the Conquer Cancer Australia relay.

I say “scheduled” as from time to time people drop out, so I may drop in and do a fourth hour, if needed. Having done a few hours now, I am familiar with the process and am able to jump in if needed, especially during the day when most folks are working.

This run was exactly like the previous two. Except the nights are getting longer, so I started and finished this session in the dark. For my first hour, a friend had joined me (he’s flown home now), and D had joined me for my second hour last week, (he sensibly opted to stay in bed this time). Apart from the dark, the lack of company, and the camera barking at me about having a low battery and needing a charge, this run was exactly like the previous two!
